USA are really the best country where shooting people. Differently from Europeans, the Americans are accustomed to being photographed and do not care about your camera. So taking good images of streets portraits is relatively easy in NY and San Francisco.

Maybe for this reason some of the best books of “street photography portraits” was “The Americans” made by photographer Robert Frank and some of the best NY street portraits are taken by the Magnum Photographer Bruce Gilden.

This is my job on this theme, surely not at their same level, but I hope you could consider it as a good first job.

All the images were taken in NY or San Francisco in August 2011.

A differenza degli Europei gli Amercani sono abituati ad essere fotografati e non fanno causa alla tua macchina fotografica. Prendere quindi buone immagini di ritratti in strada è relativamente semplice a New York o San Francisco.

Probabilmente per questa ragione uno dei migliori libry di ritratti “in street” è “Gli Americani” del fotografo Robert Frank e alcuni dei migliori ritratti eseguiti per strada a NY sono stati presi dal fotografo dell’agenzia Magnum Bruce Gilden
