Lifephoto | 25 Aprile 2013 – Not Only the Day of the Italian Liberation

On April 25, 1945 Genoa, Turin and Milan were liberated by the Nazi oppression and Italy found its Freedom.
Every year they show and hand down the memory of what happened in those terrible moments to remember it and with the hope modern generations are able to finally reconcile themselves with the past.
Nevertheless this year the date assumed a different meaning, because after two long months from the national elections (had on Feb. 24th 2013) no party won and the parliament presents three coalitions (SEL-PD left side; PdL right side and the new Movimento 5 stelle of Mr. Grillo) with almost 28% of votes and the Mr. Monti party with 10%. Each party has not the majority and no party wanted do an alliance with another party. This crazy situation caused a serious stall in the Italian democracy what xploded during the Republic President Election had in April 20th at the 6th vote in the Italian Parliament when the last 88 years old President Giorgio Napolitano has been reconfirmed for 7 years more by PD,PdL & Monti Party with 738 votes out of 997 present. This solution arrived after the rupture of the most important left party PD because during the 5th vote 101 PD’s deputies voted against the founder of the big left coalition Mr. Romano Prodi, cheating the official direction of PD party to elect Mr. Prodi as the new Italian President. In the other hand the the Grillo party (movimento 5 stelle = 5 star movement, (a sort of Italian Pirates Party) proposed an old PD executive Mr. Rodotà that the Bersani’s party didn’t want anymore. So the winner was the right party of Mr. Berlusconi… He wanted Mr. Napolitano (the last President is also a PD left party executive) and the left PD party (by now destroyed) had to accept this solution.
So after the Napolitano election and after 20 years PD continued to scream: “never with the Jaguar (Mr. Berlusconi)”, on April 28th they made a political government with Mr. Berlusconi Right Party (PdL) against all the promises they told till April 27th! Mr. Letta is the new Prime Minister, the left coalition PD-SEL (the Mr. Vendola Party remained faithful to his ideas) has broken and Mr. Berlusconi with five important ministers (Interior, Infrastructures and Transport, Health, Agriculture Food and Forest Policies, Constitutional reforms) is able to maintain his power.
On April 28th a disparate alone man shot two “Carabinieri” (the Carabinieri is one of the four Italian armed forces with a double nature of Army and Police) in front of “Palazzo Chigi” (Houses of Italian Parliament) when the new Government Mr. Letta swore his fidelity to the Italian Constitutio. The bomber (Luigi Preiti) declared “I wanted kill a politician, because I have nothing, while politicians steal and become rich over the poor people”…

Il 25 Aprile 1945 Genova, Torino e Milano vennero liberate dall’oppressione Nazifascista e l’Italia ritrovò la Libertà.
Ogni anno si mostra e si tramanda il ricordo di quanto avvenuto in quei terribili momenti per non dimenticare e con la speranza che le moderne generazioni riescano definitivamente a riconciliarsi con il passato.
Tuttavia la data di quest’anno ha assunto un significato diverso, perché dopo due lunghi mesi dalle elezioni nazionali (aveva il 24 Febbraio 2013) nessun partito ha vinto e il Parlamento è risultato composto da tre coalizioni/partiti (SEL-PD, PdL e Movimento 5 Stelle di Grillo), con quasi il 28% dei voti e il partito di Monti (Scelta Civica) con il 10%. Nessun partito ha raggiunto la maggioranza nei due rami del parlamento e nessuno voleva fare alleanze. Questa difficile situazione ha causato un grave stallo nella democrazia italiana che è esploso durante l’elezione del Presidente della Repubblica avvenuta il20 aprile al 6 ° voto nel Parlamento italiano quando il presidente Giorgio Napolitano (ormai 88enne) è stato riconfermato per ulteriori 7 anni da PD, PdL & Scelta Civica con 738 voti su 997 presenti. Questa soluzione è arrivata dopo la rottura del PD perché durante il 5 ° voto 101 deputati dello stesso partito hanno votato contro il fondatore dell’Ulivo Romano Prodi, tradendo la direzione ufficiale del PD partito per eleggere proprio Prodi come nuovo Presidente della Repubblica Italiana. Dall’altra parte il partito Grillo proponeva un vecchio Rodotà (un vecchio dirigente dei DS) che il partito di Bersani non voleva accettare. Alla fine il vincitore è stato il partito di destra di Berlusconi … voleva il signor Napolitano (l’ultimo presidente è anche un dirigente di partito PD a sinistra) e il PD partito di sinistra (ormai distrutta) ha dovuto accettare questa soluzione.
Così, dopo l’Elezione di Napolitano e dopo 20 anni in cui il PD continuava a gridare e giurare: “mai con il Giaguaro (Berlusconi), il 28 aprile loro hanno fatto un governo politico con Berlusconi contro tutte le promesse che raccontavano fino al 27 aprile ! Letta è il nuovo primo ministro, la coalizione di sinistra PD-SEL (il partito di Vendola è rimasto fedele alle sue idee) si è rotta e Berlusconi con cinque ministri importanti (Interni, Infrastrutture e Trasporti, Salute, Politiche Agricole, Alimentari e Forestali, riforme costituzionali) è in grado di mantenere il suo potere.
Il 28 aprile, un uomo solo e disparato ha sparato contro due “Carabinieri” (i Carabinieri è una delle quattro forze armate italiane, con una doppia natura di esercito e polizia) di fronte a “Palazzo Chigi” (sede del Parlamento italiano), quando il nuovo governo il signor . Letta ha giurato la sua fedeltà alla Costituzione italiana. L’attentatore (Luigi Preiti) ha dichiarato che “voleva uccidere un politico perché lui non ha nulla mentre i politici rubano a spese della povera gente”…
